About the event

It’s been a whole year now, and the pandemic is certainly taking its toll…  Whether you’re a parent, a laid-off worker, living alone, working from home, a socialite, a gym-rat, or an avid traveller, the pandemic has temporarily removed many of the outlets that aim to improve our mental well-being.  Winter certainly hasn’t help this.

Whether you yourself are feeling the drains of monotony and isolation, or if you someone who is, there are proper ways to cope, and to identify when those around us need our support.

Our evening seminar series returns in February as we continue to bring in specialists to share their expertise with you.

This month, we are pleased to present Dr. Dorota Spelliscy, Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Somerset Psychologists in downtown Ottawa, Ontario

Dorota will share some common symptoms associated with stressors due to the pandemic and ways of coping with them. She will also be sharing some insight into how you can spot these symptoms in those around you, as well as some assistance with any of the emotional and academic difficulties your child/teen may be going through in these difficult times.
